House Church at We The Redeemed

At We The Redeemed, our vision is to restore the New Testament Church. We believe that church is more than just a Sunday gathering; it’s a community where people grow in faith, build deep relationships, and live out the gospel together. That’s why we embrace the house church model, where believers meet in homes, share meals with glad and sincere hearts, and experience spiritual growth together – just as the early Christians did in Acts 2:46-47. Through house church, we strive to live out the Great Commission together by sharing Christ’s love in our communities.

What is House Church?

A house church is like a mini-church, fulfilling all the intrinsic purposes of a local church: worship, education, fellowship, service and evangelism. Each house church at WTR is made up of a close-knit gathering of individuals who meet weekly in homes to:
  • Break Bread – Strengthening community by eating dinner together.
  • Worship & Pray – Lifting our hearts to God in an intimate setting.
  • Share Scripture – Sharing from Scripture and applying it to our lives.
  • Mutually Support – Encouraging and walking alongside one another through life’s joys and challenges.

Three Axes of House Church

True spiritual transformation happens when a person's heart, mind, and will are holistically nurtured. Our church life is structured around three key axes:
  • Weekly House Church Meetings – A place to experience and share God's love in an intimate, relational setting. (Heart)
  • Weekday Bible Studies – Equipping believers with a deeper understanding of the Word of God. (Mind)
  • Sunday Corporate Worship – Inspiring and challenging people to live Christ-centered lives. (Will)
